Coding in Color announced that as recipients of the Banner Health Community Reinvestment Grant, it will use the grant to continue furthering its mission of providing computer science education to underserved students in Arizona.
Coding in Color had recently launched a pilot Web Development Certification program in partnership with Hope Academy, with positive feedback from both staff and students. Students earn certifications in web development and learn technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript alongside the fundamentals of software development. With this grant, Coding in Color continues expanding these programs to other schools and students throughout Phoenix.
